Hope for youth with Cerebral Palsy
	In the year 2004, a youth by the name Saravanan was abandoned by his parents at the age of 17. He was supported by his neighbors in terms of and shelter. Even though he was diagnosing with cerebral palsy since birth, he successfully completed his secondary education with good results. In the year 2005, the plight of Saravanan was brought to the attention of Saravanan of Kamakshi Child Home. Saravanan case was studied and verified. Upon verification the youth was admitted by the home.
	Today Saravanan under the nourishment of Kamakshi Child Home was vibrant young men representing his (state) in paraolyimpic while furthering his studies in A level with the intention of completing the tertiary education. Saravanan is a confident young man ready to meet the challenges that lay in front of him. - by Muniandy & Paramasivam

X'mas Party

The children of Kamakshi Child Home were invited to an xmas party by the Open Club in Sungai Petani. At the party they had fun and games like dancing to the rhythm, musical chair, pin the donkey and many more.

Apart from that they were also enjoyed singing Christmas carols. During this event they also had the opportunity to play and socialize with other underprivileged children which they enjoyed.

The children are later treated to an X’mas Dinner. The night ended with prize giving ceremony for the winner of the children games. The children went back with full of joy at heart and cherish memories.
